Inspired by the beauty and colours of the landscapes and chateaus in the South of France I shot this French inspired editorial shoot Silk & Stone at Hassop Hall in Derbyshire for Rock My Wedding.
With a backdrop of Hassop Hall and a team of talented suppliers I put together this inspirational shoot for boho brides. Inspiration for modern couples who want a relaxed yet beautiful theme for their wedding.
Our warm yet muted colour scheme can be easily recreated. The dresses and accessories we chose are effortlessly easy to wear, no matter where you’re getting married.
The bias cut silk gowns by Kate Beaumont and blush beaded shoes by the amazing Emmy Shoes were the perfect pairing for our chateau inspired backdrop. The beautifully draped fabrics caught the light and looked so elegant on our model Sophia.
Stylist Nina Marika created a rustic tablescape complete with fresh fruit, pastel macaroons and hand calligraphed stationery by Claire Gould.
silk & stone – Inspiration for the french bride
Hair and make-up artist Sarah Morten created a series of soft and romantic styles to complement each dress. Each look was based around creating something that would be achievable for the modern bride.
Florist Anna Potter from Swallow & Damsons put together natural bouquets in a green, grey and dusty pink colour scheme. The florals were teamed up with hand dyed silk ribbons by Lancaster and Cornish. Perfect for our silk & stone vision.
With an abundance of natural light and so many glorious backdrops to choose from, I was spoilt for choice on this fine art editorial shoot. I shot on a combination of film and digital to create this ethereal series of images for Rock My Wedding.
